  Citizens of Galloeyville are baffled today after seeing the most unusual hero team up in decades. It seems when Captain Native American was busy defending the Norton Museum of Antiquities from would be antiquity theives

 he was aided by an unlikely source: Model Madam.  The two heroes worked as a team to take down the thieves and bystanders were completely impressed.

Major Greg Gibson, better known as Major Gibson, has passed away at the age of 104.  Major Gibson is generally believed to be the world’s first superhero.  Despite the title, Major Gibson actually had no superpowers nor did he have any regular powers as records show he was very average in terms of smarts (both book and street) and pictures show his physique wasn’t much to look at either. Also, Major Gibson did not actually fight crime as he more or less just like to read about the criminals later after they were captured by the police and covered by the local papers.  It should also be noted that Major Gibson did not wear any type of hero costume or mask. In fact, Major Gibson shared basically no resemblance to the modern hero and it remains quite a mystery as to why we here at The Hero Daily refer to him as “the world’s first super-hero.”

Former Villain Lair, Now Ultimate Bachelor Pad

     When Josh Moser learned of his fiance’s death at the hands of villan Doctor Death last April he imagined he whole life was over.  What he never imagined is that he would soon find himself the most available bachelor in all of Gallooeyville.  That is where he finds himself now that a jury has awarded him a record decision in his civil lawsuit against Dr. Death.  As part of the settlement, Dr. Death (who is currently serving a 20 year sentence at Statesville Prison) has had to turn over the keys to his multi-million dollar downtown skyscraper known as “Death’s Door.”

    This fine city deserves a legal system that will put criminals away once and for all. Instead, it seems we have a revolving door at our local prison it. As soon as our cape and cowl set catches the scumbag criminal they are sent right in the front door of Urham assylum then right out the backdoor. How frustrating that must be to our great detective heroes. Imagine you’ve been hard at work trying to figure out some psychopath’s plans, you track him down, you battle him, you take him into custody, you turn him over the city and he’s back on the streets before you’ve even had time to clear up all those unused icons on your laptop where you did all your research trying to figure out his plans.  It’s enough to make you want to put in some sort of death penalty for mass-murderers.

A possible doppelganger?

   Top level Democrats in Washington D.C. today are said to have began to fear that someone, or some thing, has replaced President Barack Obama with a look-a-like, a clone, a shapeshifter, or a doppelganger.  According to one top-secret document uncovered by THD, one Dem leader wrote the following:  “What has happened to the Barack that America fell in love with?  Where’s the smooth talker, the high-charisma guy?  And what is up with the President’s popularity plummeting?  This ‘new’ Obama’s plans are unpopular, his health care initiative is a flop and his economic stimulus to keep unemployment under 9% has been an utter failure. Where is the real Obama?”

    These shocking allegations will be investigated deeper.

  Notorious villain Cow-Lady has finally been brought to justice.  Members of the Apathy League encountered Cow-Lady last night in a standoff at the corner of Main St.  and Adams Avenue.  The Apathy League quickly surrounded here and brought her down using a prod of some sort.  Once down on the ground, Apathy League Junior Member “The Boy Scouter” tied her legs and arms together and called the cops to clean up the mess.

Sidekick Kid-Plucky Uses His Wits, Adorable Smile, And a Gun to Fight Crime.

  Scientists have completed a DNA mapping of Teen sidekick Kid Plucky and have found a shocking discovery.  Kid Plucky’s DNA has been altered to a point where he will remain a teenager forever.  First bursting on the scene as God-Guy’s sidekick back in 1954, Kid Plucky has went on thousands of missions.  But it seems one mission in 1954 when the communist-supporting Villain “The Red Herring” poured DNA altering “Gen Mao’s Secret Sauce” on him.  Since then Kid Plucky has not aged a day.

  Mr. Gullible, Gallooeyville’s quickest hero to jump to unfounded conclusions, has promised to bring in alleged rapist/murderer Glenn Beck.  Mr. Gullible made a public comment this morning after reading online that Glenn Beck has been said by some to be a rapist and murderer.

  “I am a man of action, not thinking,” continued Mr. Gullible, “so when I read something online I assume it’s time to act.”

  “Due to the budding team-up of Super-Jon and his trusty teen sidekick and potential love interest, Skank-Girl, Super-Kate has announces she can no longer consider Jon her partner in crime-fighting.  At this point, their eight children/exploited tot sidekicks are not clear who they will be fighting for.”
